NEW TRACK - Gravity (feat. Liv Mirrington)
Stare At The Clouds return with another single, Gravity (feat. Liv Mirrington) from their forthcoming album, The Veil.
Written from the perspectives of both a patient and their spouse, the song explores the devastating moment a couple learns of a dementia diagnosis and realising that life as they know it has changed forever, capturing the heartbreak, reassurance, grief and enduring love that coexist in the immediate aftermath of life-changing news.
Guest vocalist Liv Mirrington brings greater depth to the story as the voice of the spouse, standing alongside the patient throughout this ordeal. Their intertwined performances are at once mournful and defiant, wrestling with the weight of the diagnosis, and an uncertain future.
Stare At The Clouds return with a new single, The Patient: Fray - their first release since their 2016 acclaimed debut album This Clear Divide.
Mixed and mastered by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, The Butterfly Effect, Wheel), their single ‘The Patient: Fray’ explores the internal turmoil and struggle of a dementia patient who is losing themselves to the disease. The confusion, the grief, and ultimately broken and pained acceptance.
Stare At The Clouds announced themselves in 2016 with a debut album that drew praise for its ambition, precision, and emotional weight.
